CHOOSING A CLASS:
Recommendations outlined for Kindermusik classes have been carefully constructed to best group children in an age and developmentally appropriate way. Therefore it is important that your child be the minimum age at the start of the class for which you are enrolling. If you have concerns about your child’s success in a particular age range, I will be happy to discuss your child’s needs and to work with you to place your child in the class best suited to him/her.

REGISTRATION:
Your family may enroll in a class at any time during the entire semester. New enrollments will be charged on a pro-rated basis, based on number of classes remaining in the semester from the time of registration, plus materials fees.

A registration form and payment of materials fees must be received before enrollment can be confirmed. You will receive a letter and phone call within 1 week of receipt to confirm your registration.

REFUNDS: All deposits are non-refundable and are required to reserve a space in class. These cover materials fees.  If you must withdraw from class before the semester is complete, the remaining amount of tuition will be applied toward future class.  All requests will be considered on an individual basis.

ILLNESS POLICIES:
Every child experiences illnesses at times. For the comfort of your own child, and for the health of other students in your child’s class, please refrain from bringing your child to class if any of the following situations apply: Has had fever over 100 degrees in the past 24 hours, has excessively runny nose and cough, has had contagious infection such as pink eye or skin infection in the past 24 hours, has been experiencing diarrhea or vomiting in the past 24 hours.  To return to class, you child must be SYMPTOM FREE FOR 24 HOURS.  If  your child has had fever, they must be fever free without medication for 24 hours.

If extensive illness limits your child’s participation, please discuss the situation with me.

MAKE UP CLASSES:
No refunds or discounts will be given for missed classes. Parents may schedule a makeup class during any week in the semester by emailing terri@kmbuck.com. The choice of makeup class times is based on available space in a class of the same age/curriculum.  You may also make up a class on special Demo Days classes.

CLASS CANCELLATIONS:
Classes will be made up in the event of teacher illness or inclement weather. If school in Mattoon has been cancelled due to snow/weather, a make up day will be scheduled. I will notify you of illness cancellations and the scheduled make-up day in either event. Please check the website for cancellations.

NON-ENROLLED SIBLINGS:
Due to limited class sizes, and the delicacy of the younger class settings Village and Our Time, classes can only accommodate non-enrolled siblings when the sibling is young enough to stay contented in a car carrier.  Emergency exceptions will be considered. Non-enrolled siblings may join in during Sharing Time for Imagine That! and Young Child, and ABC Music and Me.  Family class options are also available.  Please refer to the class descriptions.

FREE VISITS/DEMONSTRATION CLASSES:
Any day is FREE PREVIEW DAY! I am happy to schedule a visit for non- enrolled children who may be curious about the Kindermusik experience. You must call in advance to reserve a class time to preview. Please call 258-6454 for availability.

I am also available to introduce Kindermusik to non-enrolled families during a demonstration class with at least 3 families in attendance. These may be at a playgroup or church group, or in the home. Please call  258-6454 for more details.

CAREGIVER ATTENDANCE:
For VILLAGE, SIGN AND SING, OUR TIME, and FAMILY TIME classes, one parent/caregiver must be in attendance at all times. Dependent on class size, it is preferred that only one parent/caregiver attend with the enrolled child. On occasion, it is permissible for an additional adult (other parent or grandparent, etc.) to attend class with the enrolled child.

IMAGINE THAT! , ABC MUSIC AND ME and YOUNG CHILD: Parent or caregiver is requested to remain on-site during class. If you must leave, please arrange with another grown-up to be on call in case of bathroom needs or emergencies. Staying nearby also ensures that you will be on time for family sharing time.

Parent/caregiver attendance is required for Sharing Time, the final 10-15 minutes of  these classes.  Other family members may join in for the Sharing Time at the end of these classes
A waiting area is available for parents and siblings.

Tell your friends and family how much you love Kindermusik and we will THANK YOU with tuition bucks- $10 for each friend who enrolls for Spring or Fall semester and $5 for each friend who enrolls in summer camp.
