Village: A bonding experience for infants ages 5 to 17 months and their caregiver.

What you’ll experience in Village class:

A community of like-minded families. You will share in a special community of caregivers and little ones who are eager to grow and bond through a musical learning environment. Special friendships develop and blossom in this early experience.
Bonding time. You will form unparalleled bonds with your child in this special one on one time.  The bonding continues as you share these special class activities at home.  An emotionally healthy child who feels loved and secure has a stable base from which to grow and excel!
A variety of music. Because a developing mind is open to new experiences and grows from them, Kindermusik classes offer a variety of musical sounds and styles.  This helps our children to become lifelong music lovers!
Instrument play. Age-appropriate experiences with child-safe instruments enhance a sense of rhythm and steady beat.  Fine motor skills are cultivated through instrument play and children are encouraged to explore as they begin to express creativity.
Together time. A Kindermusik class is truly the essence of “quality time,” offering you a place to create special memories with your child, gain new insights into your child’s development, and nurture your child’s natural curiosity.
Dance. By dancing with your child in free and choreographed dances, your child develops muscle strength and experiences the joy of movement.  The social aspect of dance brings smiles as babies and caregivers interact in playful movement.
Expert advice. Your Kindermusik educator will share the whys and hows of child development and show you how music can enhance development in every area.
Learning at home. Through At Home Materials and with the guidance of your educator, you will find a plethora of activities to bring the learning home, in your child’s most comfortable environment.

Cock-A-Doodle MOO: — Hop on the hayride—it’s time to head for the farm! In this class, you will sing songs about the farm, including “Old MacDonald,” “Hayride,” and “Clever Cows.” You’ll engage in rituals and playful activities with your baby, including infant massage, lap bounces, exercise, and quiet time.

Home Materials: A picture board book with charming farm animals and the sounds they make—Cock-a-doodle-Moo, a CD of the songs heard in class, a Sunshine Jingle instrument for music-making at home, and a set of Art Banners for the nursery wall. With your special class code, you also have access to digitally download your music for your iPod at play.kindermusik.com.

Dewdrops:
Stop and smell the roses—and lily of the valley, and tulips, and pansies. In this class, parents and babies will play and move together to songs about flowers, such as “Jasmine Flower,” “How Does Your Garden Grow?,” and “White Coral Bells.” You’ll also hear traditional Irish music, dance a jig and move to the “Irish Trot.”
Home Materials: CD of beautifully arranged songs from class, a board book of colorful flowers—DewDrops, a set of Art Banners for the nursery wall, and a Flower Bells instrument for music-making at home.With your special class code, you also have access to digitally download your music for your iPod at play.kindermusik.com.
